Located near the city of Anadia, the Graciosa Palace is a magnificent Portuguese Baroque building, built in the last third of the eighteenth century, integrated in Quinta da Graciosa, with a total area of 24,547ha.
It has an extensive façade arranged on two floors (at the front, the attic is not perceptible), divided in the classic manner of the piano nobile, in which the main rooms are on the upper floor, accessible from a remarkable example of a staircase.
The main elevation is divided by pilasters, topped off the roof by vigorous fires, forming three panels. The central one stands out, corresponding to the development of the staircase, which includes a profusion of typically Baroque elements: balustrades, stoves, mouldings. The openings, arranged in a rhythmic way, enliven the façade, highlighting the wide baroque frames, in particular those of the noble floor. In the center, and highlighted, is the scalloped frame window, surmounted by the family coat of arms.
Implanted in a vast farm, the Palace is completed by a multiplicity of support structures that served the functional logic of a large manor house. Contiguous are the chapel, the large hall and kitchens, the wine cellar; In the nearby distance, there is the wing that housed the stables and horse carts, the riding arena and several warehouses.
Other structures were also designed for housing, at various points, as well as a spacious ballroom fully prepared for any type of event.
