CASARES HOUSES - Casa da Mina
These houses are located in the village of Casares, parish of Moimenta Montouto, in the north of the municipality of Vinhais, inserted in the Natural Park of Montesinho which has the Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is located near the border with Spain, in the division of the autonomous regions of Galicia and Castilla and Leon.

The houses were part of a rural tourism project, classified as Village Tourism, 22 years ago, the first existing in the North of Portugal, where thousands of tourists passed. Some time ago, due to advancing age and precarious state of health of its owner, this interrupted the exercise of the activity, although the houses are still properly licensed.
The houses were rebuilt keeping the initial and typical rustic moth of the village, with shale walls, brown woods both the structure and the interiors, that is, the floors, ceilings, windows and exterior and interior doors, as well as the balusing of the balconies, the furniture, the interior stairs that connect the kitchens and the rooms to the upper floor, with bedrooms and bathrooms.
All of them have fireplace, central heating and are fully equipped, ready to live, with water from the grid, electricity, television in the rooms.
